With this Crew-d Pineapple Sour made with the spicy Cask & Crew Rye Whiskey you can check out of the real world and transport yourself somewhere warm any time. I have had an obsession with Sours since I first learnt how to make them and I love finding new products to use in them. I came across this delicious Rye Whiskey and noticed they had Walnut Toffee and Ginger Spice flavors in their repertoire but found the straight Rye to really work best for this cocktail.

Cask & Crew Whiskey has introduced a new flavor: Orange Roasted. It’s the third infused flavor in the Cask & Crew whiskey portfolio joining the award-winning ranks of Walnut Toffee and Ginger Spice.
At its official industry unveiling at the 2018 WSWA Annual Convention, Cask & Crew Orange Roasted Whiskey won a prestigious Double Gold Medal.
- 3 oz ginger beer
- 3 oz limeade
- 3 oz Cask & Crew Ginger Spice Whiskey
- 1 tbsp mint simple syrup
- 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 2-3 fresh mint leaves
- 1Lime wedges and mint sprigs for garnish
- Plank for smoking the glass
Combine all ingredients except lime wedges in a cocktail shaker with ice cubes and shale vigorously for 30 seconds. Light the plank and place your glass over the lit area to fill with smoke. Take the lid off the shaker, turn the glass over and fill with the cocktail.
Garnish with lime wedges and fresh mint sprigs.

Held August 17th to August 20th, the 2017 Savannah Gourmet Seafood & Spirits Festival showcased 4 days of amazing food and cocktails. Cask & Crew Blended Rye Whiskey was featured in a variety of cocktails crafted by some of Savannahs top mixologists. Cask & Crew Whiskey Takes Home the Gold
Cask & Crew Rye Whiskey takes home the Gold at the WSWA 74th Annual Convention. Additionally, the Sister Smokin’ Ginger cocktail was awarded the People’s Choice Award during the WSWA Mixology Competition.

Cask & Crew Whiskey recently had the opportunity to participate in the WSWA Convention’s Call for Cocktails Mixology Competition. We were one of 12 finalist selected out of over 100 cocktails!
Our crew member Marco Baroli of Cibo Wine Bar crafted our featured cocktail, Sister Smokin’ Ginger. The competition was stiff, but our craft cocktail was a crowd favorite and won the People’s Choice Award! Check out some of the pictures from the event and try out the recipe below.
Sister Smokin’ Ginger
1 ½ oz. Cask & Crew Ginger Spice Whiskey
½ oz. Cask & Crew Whiskey Straight Rye blend
1 oz fresh ginger simple syrup reduction*
¾ oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
Sprig of fresh mint
Burnt cinnamon stick
Oak plank for smoking
*Fresh Ginger Simple Syrup Reduction: Fresh ginger reduction, cornstarch, sugar, water, cinnamon.
Instructions: Combine Cask & Crew Ginger Spice Whiskey, Cask & Crew Whiskey Straight Rye Blend, Ginger Simple Syrup Reduction and lemon juice. Shake well. Smoke mint and ginger on the oak plank. Double strain cocktail into smoked glass. Top with Prosecco and 7-UP. Grate fresh cinnamon on top
Garnish: Fresh mint, dusted with powdered sugar. Top with burnt cinnamon stick.
