Jessica’s Strawberry Smash

Macerated Strawberries

Ingredients

  • 12-14 strawberries cleaned and hulled
  • 6 oz sweet vermouth
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • Dash black pepper
  • 3 orange peels

Directions

  1. Place all in a jar, let rest for 1 hour or more at room temperature.
  2. Crush berries with pestle.

TIP: Berries will hold for 3 weeks in fridge, delicious poured over ice cream!

Cocktail

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Cask & Crew Rye Whiskey
  • 2 oz macerated strawberries
  • 1/4 oz fresh lime juice
  • 2 dashes Rhubarb bitters optional
  • Club soda topper

Directions

Shake, pour, top with club soda & serve with an orange twist.
